Mr. Bell,

You said that Till and others only assume that when God kills people, it is
immoral. You disagree and say that they never proved that, but only assumed
that.

We skeptics also assume that when Zeus or Aphrodite kill people, that these
gods are also immoral.

The problem is: Where did you ever get this idea that bible-god is the
special exception to everything? Then, does the reasoning you use to get
you to that place, work for other religions? Was it because the Bible says
"let God be true and every man a liar"? Or because it also says "will not
the judge of the whole earth do right?" ? or maybe "I am holy"?

Matthew Bell has never proven that the bible-god is the special exception to
everything, he has only assumed it. YOU say God can't be judged by humans,
therefore YOU are resonsible to prove that. you know that you are
restricted to just the bible to prove this, and so I think that your sad
case for God's special status is more a problem of insufficient and faulty
evidences than it is with your abilities to debate.

This is also a strike against you intellectual ability: Do you honestly
think you are accomplishing anything productive when you assume that God is
the special exception and then act like all those who don't agree, suddenly
have a job to do?

Tell ya what: Elvis was seen in a UFO teaching bigfoot how to swim in the
UFO's sauna which was called 'Loch Ness Sauna'. How do we know this is all
true? Answer: Because you can't DISprove it!
You might consider disappearing for a while, since I feel that mormons by
the thousands are seeking you out to pay homage to you, since your reasoning
also proves that the book of mormon is the word of God. ummmm. yeah, God's
mysterious ways are the reason you can't reconcile the BoM with the Bible.
There! Do you now have the testimony that Joe Smith is a true prophet or
what?

For some reason, you fail to understand that with all of your, "but your
just assuming", you NEVER ONCE made your own case for God being the special
exception. You act as if there is no difference between the writing of the
bible passages I gave above and their subsequent authority over men. By
assuming the truth of such passages as I gave above, when the debate is
specifically about whether such passages indeed represent reality, you
commit circular reasoning.

You seem to think that God can't ever be judged one way or the other by man,
yet your only proof for such is to depend upon the very book whose authority
is being debated!

When you realize for the first time that the opposition's failure to refute
your belief, still does absolutely nothing to bolster your own case, you
will finally see the stupidity involved in acting like the argument "should"
be settled with a mere quotation from what you already believe. Are you
serious when you think that failure to "refute" suddenly makes your own case
by default?

We on this list would like to know why bible-god is the special exception to
actions that are otherwise "immoral", and all you have to prove such is the
very book being debated (circular reasoning, and were all real sorry that
non-biblical evidences for god's special status don't exist) and your being
damn sure that this is indeed the truth (wishful thinking, the mormons
praise you for helping them discover sneaky ways to "prove" things.)

By the way, there is man living on the moon, and you only ASSUME that he
ISN'T there. The book of mormon harmonizes with the Bible in all places,
but God's ways are mysterious, which accounts for your inability to agree to
this. The Koran is the word of God, but God has blinded you to this fact,
because nobody has known the mind of the lord. Have I established ANYTHING
in this last paragraph? I suggest you read this whole post about 10 more
times very carefully before you answer, because other religions can use the
EXACT reasoning you do, to "prove" something about their gods.

Christian
