FILIP
1. If no-one objects to the date I have given for the flood (and I
don't remember reading any objections), then can anyone explain
the existence of cultures (Egypt/ Mesopotamia/China) through that
time without break?

Please remember to label your posts.
Also, you can point out to the inerrant believer that the Great Pyramid
was built before the (mythical) Global Deluge, and then ask how it could
have survived all that water? Not to mention all the rest of the
pyramids, for that matter, which took lots of time, and used lots of
slaves.
David F:
I'm going off topic a little, but there is an interesting book titled
Noah's Flood, by Ryan and Pittman, geologists, which gives a
very creditable theory of the source of the Flood Myth, and
explains a problem in paleoanthroplogy too.
WARNING!!
Christians should not read this book, as it can cause a condition
in which neurons in the brain become active, leading to irreversible
thinking. Data indicate a correlation of 1.00 between thinking and
death.
