Deuteronomy 25:19 (NIV)
> "When the LORD your God gives you rest from all the enemies
> around you (CONDITION 1) in the land he is giving you to possess
> as an inheritance (CONDITION 2), you shall blot out the memory of
> Amalek from under heaven. Do not forget!"

I have often thought about this, if the memory of Amalek is 'blotted out'
then what is it doing written in the Bible, and how can we be discussing it?
And is it possible to be told 'Do not forget' to blot something from memory.
