It is not simply a matter of "doing" research. If you want to discuss
the Bible in any sort of an accurate way, you must first have some basic
familiarity with it. You annoy so many on this list because you make
superficial objections to arguments without checking to see if you are
correct on the background information. When you don't "do" any research,
others have to pick up your slack. >>

"Doing" research for some is a walk in the park (easy), for some it is a
normal day at the office (simple), For some it is like working with the wrong
tools (frustrating).
Not everyone has the resources of others, sharing resources would seem to
be the best "tools" for the completion of the task at hand, and the task of
this
list is to point out the "errancy" of the Christian bible.
Example #1 I know that Moses had a "severe" speech problem, when I
encounter "any" sayings attributed to Moses the first thought that enters
my thoughts is just how did he (Moses) hold the attention of his audience
long enough to make a speech of one verse of text.
Proof of this is frustratingly hard to come by, at least for me.
Example #2
I. Read in a writing of one off the ancient philosophers (don't recall which)
that "Moses" the "Deity" created everything by his "faith" and ordered a
"pair"from "heavens" armory to start human life on earth (no mention of
other types of life).
This document was from around the 14-15 century and would lead one
to believe that at one time Moses was worshiped as a/the Deity.
When I draw a line from this to the Jewish beliefs in first the five books
of Moses (the pentulach) I find several unanswered questions that I
have been unable to confirm either way.
Example #3 My envy, Isaiah (my favorite of the "howlers" prophets) a
dirty unclothed sick individual, (he had a "severe" stomach problem).
Unable to earn a living due to his health problems he traveled around
the country side and towns preaching doom and gloom, probably half
crazy at times from the pain in his stomach, (as a suffer of over acidity
and a gut full of ulcers I am in sympathy with him here) In this way he
earned his living.
It is not hard to draw a line from here to Moses and his speech problem,
both he and Isaiah would have been hard pressed to earn a living in their
time.
Question #1 of example # 1,2 and 3, Was the god of their time like the
Governments of our time, did he show preferential treatment for the
handicapped? Is it a requirement of god that the howlers (prophets)
chosen to spread his word be selected from the disadvantaged,
disabled, and parasitic sections of mankind?
"Research"???
