Especially the problem of feeding just the African elephants alone.
A normal daily intake of plant material is up to approx 400 lbs
of plant material a day. Even if you put them on a concentration
camp diet of only 100 lbs a day, it still comes out to 73,000 lbs
for the pair, per year on the Ark. Then you need to add in the food
needed for all the other large herbivorous animals.
