You are speculating that it could ever be known for definite which of the
two groups are correct in their doctrine, i.e. the trinitarians or the
non-trinitarians. The two groups co-exist each denying the other as being
the genuine article. Such, in my opinion will continue to be the case until
Christ's return (although for the JW's this has already happened in 1914
but that's another matter!). For the trinitarians to be wrong they must be
shown to be wrong, and the only consequence of such is that they would
shift their position to either that similar to the JW's or to another
system like modalism.
