Matthew Bell You are speculating that it could ever be known for definite which of the two groups are correct in their doctrine, i.e. the trinitarians or the non-trinitarians. The two groups co-exist each denying the other as being the genuine article. Such, in my opinion will continue to be the case until Christ's return (although for the JW's this has already happened in 1914 but that's another matter!). For the trinitarians to be wrong they must be shown to be wrong, and the only consequence of such is that they would shift their position to either that similar to the JW's or to another system like modalism.
