I killed her in NY, she could have actually *died* in NY or somewhere between NY and Chicago, but definitely *before* she was pronounced dead, because she was DOA. No matter what, Matt, your analogy does not work here, and I will try again to show you exactly why. (Follow my comments VERY carefully, please.) The question is not where Josiah was hit/struck, the question is where he *died*, and the Bible says he *died* in two different places. 2 Kings 23:29-30 (English-KJV) (29) In his days Pharaohnechoh king of Egypt went up against the king of Assyria to the river Euphrates: and king Josiah went against him; and he slew him at Megiddo, when he had seen him. (30) And his servants carried him in a chariot DEAD from Megiddo, and brought him to Jerusalem, and buried him in his own sepulchre. And the people of the land took Jehoahaz the son of Josiah, and anointed him, and made him king in his father's stead. They carried him DEAD from Megiddo. He died at Megiddo. 2 Chron 35:23-24 (English-KJV) (23) And the archers shot at king Josiah; and the king said to his servants, Have me away; for I am sore wounded. (24) His servants therefore took him out of that chariot, and put him in the second chariot that he had; and they BROUGHT HIM TO JERUSALEM, AND HE DIED, and was buried in one of the sepulchres Of his fathers. And all Judah and Jerusalem mourned for Josiah. They "BROUGHT HIM TO JERUSALEM, AND HE DIED". It doesn't say, "and he was dead when they got there". No, it says, that he died when he got to Jerusalem. I'm going to spare quoting any more translations, for your and the list's sake, but you have read them, and they make it very clear that in 2 Chronicles 35:23-24, Josiah died IN Jerusalem. -- aaron rainwater "Dear old world, you are very lovely, and I am glad to be alive in you" - Anne of Green Gables
