Matthew, you are a fine example of why I can't believe what christians
tell me. How are your actions any different than a non-believers? Your
sarcasm, meanness and coldness may be christ-like, but at the same time you
should be christ like and bless me, pray for me and try to save me.
HUH? You may ask. How can I be mean and show love for you at the same
time? Read your bible. If you are so smart and can figure out contradictions
in the bible please do shed some light.
Apparently god is love, read the definition of love given in the bible.
One aspect of love is love is not jealous. If god is love why is he a
jealous god? If god is the same yesterday, today and forever, and Jesus is
god, why did jesus preach not to follow an eye for an eye as commanded in
the ot, but to bless those who curse you. How is that the same? If Jesus
was the prince of peace, why did he only come to bring a sword ie. mothers
against daughters etc... If the spirit given is not a spirit of fear, but of
love and love has no fear, why does Jesus say fear the one who can send you
to hell ( don't remember the wording). God says he will spare those who
tremble at his word. If Jesus said he came that we may have a more abundant
life why did the rich man have to go to hell? Are rich christians going to
go to hell? If we are to follow the commandments such as honor thy mother
and father, why does Jesus say anyone who does not hate their parents cannot
be a disciple of mine? If our best deeds are like filthy rags, how can we be
perfect as our father is perfect? I could make a sarcastic comment but I
won't. These haven't been my only observations, but they are what quickly
come to mind.
Oh, apparently you do care what I think, otherwise you wouldn't have
responded to my message. Perhaps you are a babe in christ, otherwise you
wouldn't judge lest you be judged. You think you know what led me to my
conclusions and to this list. You obviously don't have the gift of
deciphering. What gift did the holy spirit give you? What part of the body
of christ are you? From your actions I would say the armpit probably. Sorry
I couldn't resist. Even though it sounds immature, it made me laugh.
In your response to god bashing babies and you not wanting to give wishy
washy answers, I make this judgement upon you. YOU HAVE NO ANSWER.
Ta Ta,
Sheila
