Dave G. If you can recognize the event as one of possible coincidence, no need to go any further. No miracle has occurred. No prayer was answered. You will notice as your life without religion progresses, that your fortunes and misfortunes will occur at approximately the same random rate as before. Sick loved ones will recover/stabilize/die at the same random rate as before. Many of us were where you are now. I was a Christian for the first 30 or 31 years of my life. The more I became involved, the more problems arose with the "loving nature of God" and all the contradictions. Once I finally said to myself; "this(religion)is all crap"! There is no God! It felt like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders.
