Science is NOT my forté, so I would appreciate any help anyone
can give me concerning the above assertions. Thank you.

This is child's play.

The fact that the earth is in orbit around the sun is proven by the
parallax observed in nearby stars against distant background stars. Just
as a nearby tree appears to shift against the skyline when you rock back
and forth, nearby stars shift (ever so slightly) against the more distant
background stars as the earth moves from one side of the sun to the other
side, six months later. The distances to the nearest stars are known
wiht great accuracy because the relationship between parallax shift and
distance are matters of basic trigonometry.

The comment about space program calculations being based on a
"non-moving' earth are utterly laughable, because NASA takes into account
the earth's 18.5 mi/sec orbital velocity when plotting the course to
other planets.
