Evidently you did not understand what I was saying. God is who I am
applying the statement to in the first place. Anything eternal cannot
be verified by something that is finite, regardless of whether it is
God or the Universe.
TERRY
I have went over this before. If something is eternal nothing created
it, its as simple as that as far as I am concern. If he can prove
that the universe is eternal then perhaps there would be a little more
validity to what he is saying. However , I do not believe anything
can be verified as eternal, only verified as not being eternal.

OK, that's twice now that you've said "anything eternal cannot be
verified by something finite," so I ask you: if god is eternal and
cannot be verified by something finite (you me and the rest of the
word) then why believe in it? More to the point: why believe in
Biblegod when there are so many problems with his "revelation"? You're
not making sense here Terry. You're willing to base your whole life on
something you can't even verify, much less prove.
I mean hey! I can understand a Rastaman believing in Yah because his
god "tells" him to smoke the gonja and feel good. But because of all
the restrictions your god puts on you, you can't even flog your dog
without feeling guilty 'cause YHWH's so obsessed with your sex life.
So Terry, why do you believe in this god? Really! Why? You have no
idea if he's really out there (by your own admission) and yet you are
willing to alter your whole life for something you can't even verify.
