One more thing, I suppose your scientist are never partisan, eh Poobah.
Boy, have I seen some quotes to the contrary on that one.

POOBAH
Of course they are. That's why we use peer review to check results, demand
other experiments to duplicate results, why multiple dating methods are
used, etc.

Once again, however, for you to be right, every archeologist & geologist
across the globe, in every country & of every political persuasion (who
doesn't have a vested interest in the flood) must be either in a massive
conspiracy or must have extreme prejudice against something that has nothing
to do with their livelihood. Who's more likely to be prejudiced do you
think?

TERRY
However, I believe there might be a time line for the Egyptians, but would
this be another case of your scholars against mine.

POOBAH
But we could see how honest the approach is, and whether it explains things
better than the traditional one.

TERRY
Today should be a nice day and one I intend to spend somewhere else besides
researching information on Dead folks time line.

POOBAH
Now that's the first sensible thing you've said yet. Have fun. We're having
January in July up here in Seattle. :-(
