EHIGHLEYMN
Jesus (or the manuscript) wasn't in error in Mark 2:26 because
1 Sam 21:1-6 did indeed occur in the days of Abiathar
because he was alive when it happened (22:20), and Abiathar
did indeed become the high priest (23:9).

Jesus (or the manuscript) wasn't necessarily in error in Mt 23:35
as Barachias may have been the name of Zacharias' grandfather or
another name for Jehoiada, who's actions in saving Judah from
Athaliah were a great blessing from God (2 Chr 24:16).
(Barachias in the OT means "Blessing from God.")
