Since I am Norwegian, I feel the need to comment on the above. Olav (Olaf)
Trygvasson was the second Christian Norwegian king. In addition to the
above, he committed a lot of other atrocities, too. The first Norwegian
Christian king was Haakon the Good, but his missionary work failed, probably
because he didn't force anyone to convert. The third was Olav (Olaf) the
Holy. He also had the habit of killing people and burning the farms of those
who didn't convert. He was canonized, and is still a Catholic Saint, St.
Olav. Nice guys, right? Sorry that this is off topic. Best wishes for the
