Joe Alward:

Jason, I've appended to my Potter's Field Prophecy article
(http://members.aol.com/jalw/potters_field_prophecy.html) the comments at
your
web site listed above. Please let me know if you find any problems with
the
citation. Criticisms and suggestions from list members are also welcome.

Ain't really a website - that's where we keep the archives. Look in your
received e-mail, sort by subject, look for "Apocryphal Jeremiah," and there
it is.

I did track down the other quote from Origen's "Commentary on Matthew" for
Matt. 27:9, though (from the Butterworth translation):

"Gallia est omnis divisa in partes tres, quarum unam incolunt Belgae, aliam
Aquitani, tertiam qui ipsorum lingua Celtae, nostra Galli appellantur. Hi
omnes lingua, institutis, legibus [inter] se differunt."

"In a work by Gallis of the Belgians, I have recently read these words, in
the language of the Hebrews. It differs in language, style, and length
from [the received work]."

Jason
"Let he who has ears, hear.
Let he who understands, keep quiet."
