ELF all right, supernatural property rights. Does the demon have to exchange livery of seisen to obtain ownership rights, or is it more a contract right to chattel? Is their privity of estate? Are there separable legal and equitable rights, or since this all dates back to Rome, do Roman civil law rules I haven't studied control? Or do the laws of the situs of the possession control? Is the soul alienable by the demon? Can it pass via devise and descent? Is there a title? Any recording statutes? Questions, questions, questions . . . ¡Salud! Mike, aka Elfish Chimera (with legal education showing a bit, for whatever its worth)
