It gets worse than that. We know that today there are
holy warriors of some factions of Islam living in America,
quite willing to die for their god. I'm sure that, at least
in their time here, they have heard about the "gospel".
Still, they're willing to die for their god. Even some xtian
groups believe that those who reject the gospel, know
deep down that it is true, but still "choose" to believe
it is false. That gives us a scenario where somebody
not only chooses to believe something other than what
they know (deep down) is true, but are still willing to
die for their false god that they know (deep down) is
false. That would seem to disprove the martyrdom
"proof" in and of itself.
