TILL Well, as a matter of fact, I just sent a posting that replies to the first part of his "article," so when you see it, perhaps you would care to reply. As for the rest of Turkel's article, I will reply to his other points, when he agrees to engage in the open-forum debate. Otherwise, I see no need to reply to his "points," because he will just put another article on his web page that selectively quotes what he wants his readers to see from my responses but ignores the rest. There is a second possibility. Post your promise that if I reply to Turkel's article point-by-point, your will serve as his stand-in and reply to me point by point with an effort that is comparable to what I put into my rebuttals. If you will make that commitment, I'll start replying to Turkel's other "points" as soon as I have delivered the next copy of TSR to the printer, which will take about another week. However, if you think that I am going to put the time and effort into a thorough reply to Turkel that you will just ignore, then you're mistaken. By the way, did I ever send you my 28-part reply to Turkel on the Jehu massacre? If not, I will be glad to send all 28 parts to you along with a two-part analysis of his sources, which shows that he misrepresented the sources he quoted. These postings will show you how easy it is to rip Turkel to pieces. Farrell Till Skepticism, Inc. jftill@midwest.net
