Sorry, I know it's off topic, but I can't resist - what makes you think "He"
 didn't?

Joe Alward:

It's not off-topic, in my view. It goes to the issue of omnipotence, which
has played a role in many, many skeptical arguments relating to errancy.

It's also a good point. I had snipped a sentence out of the first draft of my
post that raised this same question; I didn't want to cause the issue to
become unfocused.

To answer your question: I do not know if we have been hard-wired with any
god's message; however, I know of know evidence to suggest that we are.
There is, I believe, some evidence that we are hard-wired for belief in gods.
A study in Southern California, last year, I think, showed some correlation
between epilepsy and a tendency to embrace the supernatural, or a belief in
gods, or something like that.
