XAVIER If I recall correctly, after Jesus makes the remark that it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven, don't the apostles ask, "then how is it possible for ANYONE to be saved?" Apparently, the apostles understood Jesus' statement concerning the ease with which the rich can get to heaven to be universally applicable (otherwise they would have asked, "then how is it possible for THIS man to be saved?"). (Why do I bother? Of course, after some appeals to ancient customs, reading the "original" text, an understanding of technical issues in translating from koine Greek to English, liguistic analysis, word etymology, etc., etc. the "real" meaning of the camel and the needle's eye versuses will show it means something completely different than what I think it means.)
