CREA Our new list member, Saqib Virk, has mentioned Kersten & Gruber's __The Jesus Conspiracy__ in one of his earlier postings. These esteemed researchers assert, quite boldly, that Jesus couldn't have come from Nazareth because IT DIDN'T EXIST at the time of Jesus (citation on page 239). Needless to say, I'm sure a significant percentage of their readers read this astonishing (and unsubstantiated) "factoid" without blinking an eye. The editors (the AOS) of Oxford's recently published __Encyclopedia of Archaeology in the Near East__, which has a very nice article on NAZARETH, are obviously in collusion with the Vatican in an effort to distort and conceal the TRUTH about Jesus. ;-) With Mettaa, Joseph Crea <Joseph.Crea@worldnet.att.net>
