Greetings
I subscribed couple of weeks ago but I must tell you that this is way too
fast for me . I don't have time to read every single mail but so far so good
. Anyway ..... I was studying this alleged event on the so called Mount of
Transfiguration and something caught my attention . Please read Mark 9:5 .
In that verse , Peter supposedly addressed Jesus as rJabbiv [# 4461 ] . Luke
says different thing . In Luke 9:33 we see that Peter addressed him as
ejpistavth" [# 1988 ] . And then Matthew [17:4] says entirely different
thing . He claims that Peter addressed him as kuvrio" [# 2962 ] .
Now , even if something similar happened on this mountain , I doubt that
Peter spoke Greek when addressing Jesus . So basicaly my question would be
if these three terms are in contradiction with one another . I am only 22
and my dad would be very proud of me if that is a contradiction indeed .
So , what's your opinion ?
