Hello, I'm new to this list and would like to get some comments. In the
New Testament, there is a record of Jesus praying in the Garden of
Gethsemane. The record contains details about the words he said, and his
bloodied sweat. Incidentally, it also records Jesus' companions --
Peter, John and James -- as being asleep while Jesus was praying. So,
who made the journal of that scene? If one of the disciples was awake
and made the writing afterwards, why did he write that all of them were
asleep?

I have an easy and not very far fetched explanation for that one. Jesus
told
them what he prayed in the garden later on while chiding them for being
asleep.
