Forgive me since I am new to the list and to atheist's answers to
philosophical proofs of God, but.....

Please elaborate more on how Anselim's theory was refuted.

Also, what are the main reasons there really is no "argument from
design"

Though i certainly gave up Inerrancy and thus Christianity via Till's
"The Biblical Way To Treat Women With Dignity" article, I still hold
on to the old "wrist-watch/earth" analogy or argument from design to
prove "God" (whoever that is/he is/they is(are? trinity).

For example, does not life, even it's first primal existence (cells)
nevertheless possess intensely complicated machinery which is very
specific and cannot endure too much mutation without snuffing it's
own "life"?

Thanks to whoever helps,

Christian
