Calvin - - The intent of -my- post, which I think you are answering, was, if gods "reason" for the flood was to get rid of the wicked people, god failed. god is not God. TERRY God is not God, eh. I suppose we just have a different view of whether he failed or not. According to the Bible there was only 8 survivors of the flood. So, if he thought the 8 survivors were not wicked, I fail to see how he failed. Yes, I would say the world "again"has wicked people in it, but that does not mean that his purpose was not served effectively by the previous deluge.
