BRYCE
At least our blind faith is self consistent. Yours requires you
to believe in one supernatural deity among hundreds, and to believe
that all other religions are completely wrong. You are an atheist,
inasmuch as you believe there is no Shiva, no Osiris, no Odin, no
Zeus, no Aphrodite (I almost said "Jupiter" and "Venus," but Ron
probably believes in the planets bearing their names, and why give him
something to quibble over?), no tree spirits, no Ashteroth, no
Chemosh, no Allah, no Marduk, and no Tiamat. Yet there absolutely has
to be a Yahweh. And, as far as I can see, the evidence in favor of
Yahweh is only as strong as the evidence for any of the others (unless
you're willing to make the popularity of a belief a measure of a
belief's truthfulness).
