RON
The continuing tradition of the Church from the earliest centuries
held that Jesus was single. The fact that Jesus recommended celibacy to
those with the "gift" suggests that He would consider celibacy
advantageous (Mat 19:10-12). This is not to suggest that marriage or sex
are bad in any way. The fact is a single person has more time to devote
to the work of the Kingdom. For example, having many children and a wife
I need a better job in order to feed them. They also take a certain
amount of my time which could be applied to a ministry if I were single.
When he went to a wedding, he acted like he was in charge
>and the bride and groom are not identified. He was called a rabbi and
>I have heard that to be a rabbi one had to be married with children.
RON
A rabbi is simply a "teacher". Later Judaism, perhaps in reaction to
Christian celibacy requirements, recommended marriage. There are many
single rabbis even within Judaism.

Why is "God the Father" a
>father if the Holy Ghost did the deed? Surrogate fatherhood?
RON
Yes. The term "father" is a metaphor expressing certain
characteristics. God did not have sex with Mary. It wasn't necessary.

>If Jesus was fully human as determined at one of the early church

>Why were so many people outraged at the movie "The Last Temptation of
>Christ?"
RON
Because in the movie Jesus DOES fantasize abot Mary Magdalene. Also
many of them never saw the movie and are not really familiar with the
Bible. They didn't know that the Bible says Jesus was TEMPTED.
