BRIDEAN
Well, just to give the inerrantists more ammunition using their favorite
methods of argumentation I will prove the trinity for you. I am sure that
all of you are aware of the following proof for 2=1
1) A = B
2) A^2 = AB
3) A^2 - B^2 = AB - B^2
4) (A + B) (A - B) = B(A - B)
5) A + B = B
6) Let A=1, based on 5 then 1 + 1 = 1 or 2 = 1.
Now all of you faithless godless atheists must be wondering what the proof
for 2=1 has to do with the trinity. After all the trinity says that 3=1.
Such
an objection tries my patience, yet I will be kind enough to go ahead and
prove that 3=1 as well.
1) A=B
2) A^2 = B^2 (square both sides)
3) A^2 - 2B^2 = -B^2 (subtract 2B^2)
4) A^2 + AB - 2B^2 = AB - B^2 (add AB)
5) (A + 2B)(A - B) = B(A - B)
6) A + 2B = B
7) Let A=1 and B=1, according to 6 then 1 + 2 = 1 or 3=1.
Now I expect everyone to immediately repent of their ways and
embrace the truth of Christianity.
