Joe Alward:
Yeah, that's pretty silly. I've repeatedly (in other posts and an article)
pointed out the time frame between the blood and the next plague was seven
days.
Farrell Till:
For pity's sake, Joe, I "pointed [this] out" to you in a posting in which I
analyzed chronological markers in the plague stories to show the
unlikeliness of your quibble that months could have passed between the
plagues, but you ignored it. I wondered all along if you were really
reading my postings. If you would bother to read that posting, you would
notice that I showed that (1) the duration of the first plague was 7 days,
(2) the plague of darkness lasted only three days, (3) the death of the
firstborn happened in one night, (4) the plague of locusts came soon enough
after the hail that the writer stated they could eat only what the hail had
left, and (5) constant references to "the morrow" and "tomorrow" show that
events in the other plagues were happening in succession. And you wonder
why I usually ignore you.

Joe Alward:
Bad choice of words; I should have said "mentioned" instead of "pointed out".
The latter makes me sound like I was pointing to something nobody had seen.
I certainly didn't plan to ignore your argument about the time. However, I
didn't fully understand it at the time you first mentioned it. I plan to use
your statement above about times as a footnote to mention I made of your
"chronological signposts (markers?)" argument in the murrain-hail plague. I
would have asked you directly to discuss it with me, but you said you didn't
want to spend time discussing this with anyone but an inerrantist. Perhaps
you will tell me if you consider your statement above a satisfactory
description of your signposts analysis? You may read the article--including
this footnote--at http://members.aol.com/JAlw/murrain_hail.html
