Farrell Till:
You don't think there is any difference in just ignoring someone who is
known from a previous tenure on the list to have ulterior motives and in not
even allowing a person to post to the list. . .
==================
Joe Alward:
I won't try to defend myself against Farrell's belief that I had hidden
motives when I was on his list a year ago; it would not be possible to replay
all of the interactions that existed at that time for the viewing and judgment
of the current members. All I can do now is deny that I ever attempted to
deceive anyone, but I don't deny that it is obvious some members thought the
opposite. It wasn't true; Till says it was. Let's leave it at that; that was
then, this is now.
I hope it is enough to suggest that I have gone out of my way to make sure
everyone knows what I want to accomplish and that I'm not, as Till thinks, out
to convince everyone that I'm smarter than he is, or that I'm a champion
debater, or that I'm better at find discrepancies than anyone. If Till will
show current members what I've said since rejoining the list that has so
offended him and which points to some kind of dishonesty or ulterior motive,
we all can address it and get it behind us. We should be talking about
errancy/inerrancy, not all of these silly personal matters, don't you think?
