Addendum on Egyptian climate

Just in case Matt reads my response to Joe and gets the false impression that maybe I can't back up my claims about Egyptian climate
. . .

All interested parties are invited to do a web search on:

varve or varves or varving

dendrochronology

paleoclimatology

Those should suffice as warning beacons. In other words,  yes I most certainly can substantiate the Egyptian and surrounding
climates for any particular historical period, quite easily for periods up to about 10,000 years ago. I.e. all of recorded history
and then some.
