TILL I suspect that you even think that you have won every engagement on the Errancy list, but I also suspect that those who have been here all through your tenure see it differently. As someone recently asked about the CCBE members," Are these people even in touch with reality?" Anyway, the debate on the Egyptian plagues is far from over, so I advise you to give serious consideration to a biblical proverb: "Let not the one who puts on his armor boast like the one who takes it off" (1 Kings 20:11).

TILL Sure, I don't mind letting him address the issues in TSR with someone who doesn't even know the difference in "myself" and "me." This person has indicated to me that he has been reading TSR articles on its web site, so he has already seen something that he apparently considers worth further consideration. I would be delighted to have him see how you stumble all over yourself in trying to defend biblical inerrancy, so when he contacts me by e-mail (as he said yesterday that he would do), I am going to suggest that he *ubscribe to the errancy list. In the state of mind that he is now in, you and the other bunglers who try to defend the Bible will only hasten him along the road to intellectual honesty. As I have said many times before, Matt, you biblicists are the Bible's worst enemy, and you don't have enough sense to recognize it. I wish we had a dozen more like you on Errancy. Do you think you could persuade all of your CCBE members to come aboard and actively participate?
