We are glad to have you on the list, but I would ask you to keep in mind
that the title of the list is "Errancy." It was set up for the express
purpose of discussing biblical inerrancy, and the Catholic Church's history
of persecuting dissenters doesn't address the subject of biblical inerrancy.
For some reason, a lot of people seem to have the idea that Errancy is the
place where the Catholic Church's position on abortion, birth control, papal
infallibility, and such like should be discussed. Although I don't censor
off-topic postings, I do periodically remind list members that the subjects
addressed should have some relevance to biblical inerrancy.
