TILL
Dr. Karen Bartelt will debate Hovind at 2:30
P. M. on October 11th at the Unitarian Church in Peoria. Dr. Bartelt is a
professor of chemistry at Eureka College in Eureka, Illinois. This is
Ronald Reagan's alma mater. Although it is a college operated by the
Disciples of Christ (Christian Church), Dr. Bartelt is an evolutionist.

John Hamilton
My father graduated form Phillips University in Enid Oklahoma and majored in
biology and geology. This D of C university had no problem with teaching
evolution. As a rule the Disciples of Christ denomination is not
fundamentalist in nature and does not teach that the 'Bible' is innerrent.

Probably the biggest claim to fame of the D of C denomination is Rev Jones
and his coolaid cocktail, but then every denomination has its whackos.
