for US! First of all, although he is "of the flesh", he is still the 1/3 of a God! He would have known the "real" truth, HE would have known he didn't misinterpret what God meant, HE knew he would rejoin GOD INC., HE was never at risk of spending eternity in Hell, HE never suffered any disease, starvation, etc, etc. Crusifixion would be a cakewalk for Jesus. He should have experienced every form of suffering and death,

BRYCE I'm not sure what's being argued here. Tim writes that because none of the eleven things he mentioned ever happened to Jesus, "Jesus didn't experience what is was like to be human." As someone who has never had any of these things happen to him (I've never even been a Red Sox fan) I hope his statement is incorrect. However, if Christians claim that Christ experienced the full range of human suffering, Tim and Dave have an arguable point. OTOH, the LDS believe that Jesus DID experience the pain and suffering of every person on earth while in the Garden of Gethsemane (this is where the atonement was REALLY supposed to have happened). What purpose this suffering served in LDS theology is still unclear to me. So it isn't a fruitful line of argumentation to use against them. == Bryce Anderson http://members.tripod.com/~Idafab/index.html Justify the existence of your local Highway Patrol. GUN IT!
