Do you mean that it's no longer a clear implication of the text that Aaron
changed the blood back to water, and that the magicians did so as well?
Do you mean that it's no longer a clear implication of the text that the
Magicians did anything "by their secret arts" other than "stretch[ing]
out their hands over the waters of Egypt"?

It's amazing how clearly the text can say such mutually contradictory
things to you.

It should serve as some sort of lesson that these can't be clear
implications of the text if it takes you a month of discussion to even
think of them.
