Watch me soar way out of my element on this one, Chas, but couldn't "time"
 be considered a 4th dimension?

Charlie Certainly. It just follows different mathematical/physical rules from the three spatial dimensions. Bach << You and I could agree to meet at a certain longitude, latitude, and altitude, but if we aren't at the juncture of those three coordinates at the same time, will we meet? No.
>>
Charlie Correct. Bach << Personally speaking, I'm not sure how I got here. I don't have a clue as to where I'm going. Damn if I'm going to assume that I know where I am right now!

Charlie Join the club. (Oh, yes, I guess you did, as did I.) Bach << If Xians wanted to prove a quaternity, rather than a trinity, they could do that just as easily, IMHO. 1 Samuel 16:14-15...."Now the Spirit of the Lord [I think this would have been the _Holy_ Spirit] departed from Saul, and an _evil_ spirit from the Lord tormented him. And Saul's servants said to him, 'Behold now, an _evil spirit from God_ is tormenting you'."

Charlie Yes, that sounds good: the father, the son, the holy spirit, and the evil spirit. Or, in line with my previous post, a duo: just the father and the son, based on the Gospel of John, where Jesus is made an equal partner, but taking all these spirits as mere angels sent by God but not part of God. There's no limit as to what a clever exegete can do, which is why there are so many Christian denominations. Bach << Hello ;o) Bones Bach thebachs@fgi.net >> Charlie ciao
