In fact, I see no Christians running in and settling this question at all, one
way or the other.  Where are they?  

P.S. To Helen, sorry for the double post; my mail browser sees your name as
the "from" and the reply goes there if I don't override it, which I forgot to
do on the first post.  I'm used to ex-tian posts, which have a "reply to" that
allows merely pressing the reply button for it to go to the list.
