I have never taken the time to look for disinterested evidence that
Aristotle once existed, because it isn't important enough for me to
take the time to do it. If I live my life as if Aristotle was an actual
historical person and it should ever be shown that he wasn't, then the only
damage will be that I was wrong about something, and that wouldn't be
the first time I was wrong. Believing that Aristotle was a real person when
actually he wasn't would be only a trivial thing, because I probably haven't
had thoughts or conversations about Aristotle more than a dozen or so
times in my entire life. However, if a vociferous religious sect should arise
in this country and become powerful enough to try to impose on the
general public its view that Aristotle was a god or a son of a god and that
believing in him was so important that the country's laws should be
changed to reflect Aristotle's significance, then you can be sure that I
would take the time to look for disinterested evidence that such claims as
these are true. Because a vociferous group in this country attaches such
importance to Jesus, I have taken the time--considerable time--to look for
disinterested, contemporary evidence that this man actually existed.
You know what I found? I found that there is no such evidence.

RON
Gotcha! Translation: There ain't no such thing as "disinterested"
evidence. Your criteria are purely arbitrary and based on your desire
for God not to exist. You accept the existence of Aristotle because he
is no threat to your godless paradigm. Try telling Jesus that there is
no "disintersted" evidence for His existence when you stand before Him
in judgement. If you can even "stand" at all!
