Yes, you did miss something. I wasn't commenting on your opinion that
schools are atheistic (which is about as absurd a belief as anyone could
have) but on your comment above. "All power to the people! Revolution
now!" You evaded the analogy that John presented. If you think you are
entitled not to pay taxes to support public schools because you disapprove
of public schools, then his argument was that one who disapproves of fire
departments and police departments would be entitled not to pay taxes to
support them. Just how did, "All power to the people! Revolution now!"
respond to his rebuttal?
Perhaps you should study formal logic.

I never argued in support of the police establishment, so I don't see
how that would be an argument needing my reply. But the fact is I agree
that our government needs a shake-up. It serves the powers-that-be
financially and not the people as it was intended, or the common good as
the Church instructs. I still don't see how disliking the way the police
act is an argument against atheistic schooling? It just confirms that
the system is in sorry state.
