Nope, they go for the "heart". Hell, they even admit that faith is
irrational. Once the mark's *heart* is hooked, the church can go about
disabling their mind, which allows them access to the pocketbook. Once the
mark's pocketbook has been accessed, they will have to admit being *fooled*
in order to get out of the trap. So the prouder they are, the more likely
they are to stay in, because they cannot bear to admit their minds failed
them and they've been sold a bill of goods. If you get them into a
discussion, they invariably lean away from logical evaluation of their
beliefs and towards emotional polemics. Sound familiar?
