As far as I know the only people who use 'choice' as a euphemism for
'abortion' are the anti-abortion people. When I, or any one else I know,
say that we are 'pro choice' we mean exactly that. We are in favor of
letting women decide what to do with their own bodies. And, yes, it is the
'choice' issue. What is at issue is who is going to control women's bodies
the women themselves or the 'state' or the 'church'.

As another contribution to the polemics, one person who I know (the vice-
president of the "Pro-Life society of Akron". Said that he is actually
pro-choice but that there are consequences for making certain choices.
I.E. he would be for your right to choose to "murder" (by this I mean the
legal definition) an adult, but that if you choose that, there should be certain
consequences that result (like going to jail).
How is that for polemics?
