I suggest you check out the movie
"Zardoz" for one suggestion as to the results of human "immortality".
JASON FILLEY
Is the movie any good? Sean Connery, right? I've only heard about it from
an old Playboy review and from the stills of the movie, it looked like I
might enjoy it, skin and all. Edification of the saints. Mmmmmm.
And are we still talking about Mithras, or is this the miscellaneous bin
now?

Both me and Ron are too lazy to change the subject heading which is why it
is still "... Mithras". I should be less lazy I know.
I have seen the movie Zardoz. Ron's point (which I can tell without giving away
too much of the movie) is that the elites of a certain society have become
immortal (among other things). But these people have lived so long that they
have already done everything and so they are bored. Most of them have even
commited suicide several times (only to come back to life) just to have some-
thing to do (but eventually even get bored with that).
