>> I already answered this in a previous response. I don't doubt that
>>many believers of other religions have had experiences of God. Due to
>>the nature of this experience they could easily describe Him as Vishnu,
>>Brahman, Allah, etc. God does not limit His revelation to Christianity
>>and Judaism. In the Book of Acts it is recounted that the pagan Greeks
>>had erected an altar to "The Unknown God". The Scripture verifies that

>>the Word Himself incarnating and delivering the message Himself.

> From here it looks like you are hoist by your own petard, since you
>first allow that many believers of other religions have had experiences of
>God and then assert that "...Christianity possesses the fullest and most
>complete revelation by God, the Word himself incarnating and delivering the
>message Himself". Now all you have to do is explain the existence of Islam
>(and the Baha'is) within your predefined contextal framework. After all,
>since they both putatively received their revelations from God AFTER the
>time of Christ, there is immediately raised the explicit question of why
>God, if he had ALREADY delivered the most complete relevation to and through
>Christ, would have any reason whatsoever to subsequently deliver additional
>(and conflicting) revelations.
RON Situations change. It is not inconceivable that God would provide further guidance for the Church through her heirarchy (for instance through the Pope and Church Councils, yes I'm Catholic). This does not preclude private revelations to other individuals sometimes verified by the Church authorities. Unfortunately, in spite of my admiration for Islam I am not convinced. As for Baha'ulah, he simply believed that all religions reflected the same God. Maybe so, but we cannot accept the conflicts between the religions, for instance Hindu monism vs Christian distinction between God and Creation.
