>>IAN
>>First of all, Neil, learn how to post. Always put your name in capital
>>letters at the beginning of your post. If you don't, I will ignore it.
>
>NEIL
>Is that better Ian? Gee. You could have been nice about it. You sound as
>cranky as a lot of fundamentalists I used to know.
>
>IAN.
>>Second, if you split someone elses post, put there name in capitals where
>>there post restarts.

>NEIL
>Well... to be honest I thought this was somehow done automatically here
>because that's how I saw an earlier post of mine appeared.
NANCY That is probably because someone else did it for you. All one has to do is read a few posts on this list to figure out the posting protocol here. I have become so spoiled by the posting on this list that I find other mail-list hard to read. NEIL I'm obviously
>not as computer/post literate as you, but it won't hurt you to talk with a
>little courtesy and respect to a fellow traveller.
NANCY This ain't the Miss Manners mail-list. Actually, Ian has really toned it down a lot. He used to actually be a little rude to people who didn't follow the posting format. Now he is the epitome of urbanity. NEIL Someone else pointed out
>to me a style of posting here in response to my first post and I
>appreciated their comment and have been trying to watch my p's and q's
>since. But you are simply rude.
NANCY Hey, Ian has been going to charm school and his teachers have been beating the rudeness out of him. Personally, I liked the old Ian better. The new Ian is just too, well, too polite.

>IAN
>>I am afraid my patience with Matt, Brian Dean, and now you is coming to an
>>end. We have been at this for two weeks and we are still on the first day.

>NEIL
>As I said at the beginning of my post, I feared I might not be wise
>dropping in my suggestion that was aimed at trying to break that impasse,
>and it appears I was right. Tell you what. You promise not to read anything
>of mine and I promise not to read anything of yours. And I am making the
>first move. With this post I am sending in my request to be unsubscribed
>from the errancy list. You're not the reason (I'm really looking for others
>to discuss bible stuff I have found on the net), just the prompt to do it
>sooner rather than later. Hope that calms you down a notch.

NANCY Too bad you wouldn't stick around long enough to get to know Ian a little better and to understand what he is trying to accomplish. Oh well. Vale! Nancy Todd todds@pa.net
