IAN Well Matt, if you are not an expert and if this is only what you think, I will be happy to go along with you on this basis. The facr remains however, that IF God created everything and IF the waters were already in place, THEN God would have had to have created the waters even though they are not mentioned as being created.

IAN Well, Matt, what pray tell is the sky? Does not one go outside on a clear night and say (or think), "Look at all the stars in the sky?" What you are doing with all your picayune questions is quibbling. We are two weeks into Genesis and we are still on the first day. Do you want to continue or do you want to surrender?
