April Because he pulled you in to answer my questions about polar bears. Matt passes himself off as an inerrantist - the bible has no errors, so his pulling you in to answer my questions (when it is clear you do not believe in a global flood), is dishonest at best. Morton

April I will leave Farrell to answer such questions, but, on your website you admit you don't take the bible literally. Why, then, argue that here, with Farrell?

April Again, this is something for Farrell to argue with you, but I have met NOBODY who doesn't think the bible SAYS it was a global flood - what people (like you) do, is say, "well, it didn't actually MEAN a global flood"... And they do so, of course, because the problems associated with such are, simply, insurmountable!

April If you don't mind a personal question - why do you cling to religious beliefs? What do you get out of them? I did look at your website and you post the best reasons for not believing in the biblical god. So why do you?
