April Ah, but David's point was that one should use reason and logic when addressing the bible - but when I do so, the bible falls fall short. And he couldn't dispute that.

April You used the word "adapt" rather than "evolved". Adapt means to change oneself to a differing environment or situation. So tell me, can you adapt to breathing underwater? If not, then, in the context of our discussion, animals don't adapt, but evolve. Terry

April Once again - rain is freshwater, the sea is saltwater. If you mix the two, you get brackish water which sea (and fresh) animals can't live in. Why are you finding this so difficult to understand? Terry

April I will be happy to debate evolution with you offlist, PROVIDED you first go to http://www.talkorigins.org/ and read ALL OF both "the FAQ," and "browse the archive" files. I won't discuss evolution with somebody who knows nothing about it.
