Flood and fish

Ah, you've finally resorted to the "hocus pocus" explanation - most people go longer before retreating to that one. We are supposed to believe that the flood REALLY HAPPENED - but when presented with even ONE difficulty, then just say "Well, God did it", and the problem is supposedly solved. Doesn't work for me. Anyway, the problem is not so much the freshwater fish (since rainwater is fresh), but all the animals in the ocean. Rain is fresh, ocean is salt - those animals were the ones who would have died. And surely you don't believe that all the freshwater (or saltwater animals - take your pick) evolved from... what? in only 6000 years? Man, those suckers would be changing significantly almost daily!! And what about the plants? And how did he keep the polar bears, penguins, seals etc. cold enough, and the reptiles hot enough? (I'll leave the elephants for later. <G>) April
