Judgment Day????

Here's a question for the people on this list: Why is there going to be a Judgment Day anyway? According to the Bible, if you are "saved"
(insert your own definition here) when you die, you're going to heaven. If not, straight to hell. No second chances, no ifs, ands, or buts. Period. No need for a trial, the verdict's already in.

Is Judgment Day simply an excuse for God to say "I told you so"?
